About Cool Breeze,
Cool Breeze is a musical ensemble that specializes in Latin-American music. They have been active since 1983 and been the recipients of performance and music education awards and grants from The Arizona Commission on the Arts, Tucson Pima Arts Council, The Tucson Partnership Inc. and The Tucson Jazz Society.
Cool Breeze has toured the country of Mexico and the states of Arizona and California under the auspices of the US State Department and The Festival Cervantino of Mexico. Their recordings are available by using the "Contact Us" information request.
Their leader Homero Ceron, is the recipient of the 1999 Arizona Arts Award, the largest individual artistic recognition in our state.
Cool Breeze offers a variety of music dance styles: samba, bossa nova, cumbia, mambo, cha cha, tango, calypso, soca and reggae (all with a jazz twist)
